On saturday 08. 04. 2006 was in Polzela an international championship in Taekwon-Do, 3rd SUN OPEN 2006. The championship was for youth, junior and senior categories. In the championship took part 219 competitors from seven countries: Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro, Czech republic, Austria, Canada and Slovenia. We were very happy for competitors that came from other countries because they have made the competition more fun and they have also improved the quality of competition. A special surprise was made by our special guests – students of MASTER Phap Lu from Lu's school of Taekwon-Do who have come to participate on this championship all the way from Canada. They have also participated on three of our trainings.

It has been an interesting competition. The fights in junior and senior categories were made in league system, which has prepared some interesting fights between some of the best european champions. The special awards were given for the best individuals and also special and money awards for the best three clubs. The main judge of the competition was Mr. Emin Duraković VI DAN who has carried through the technical part of competition without any problems. The competition was finished until 18.00 hours.
